1. PAYMENT IS DUE UPON:

• REGISTERING FOR THE SELECTED CLASS.

• RECEIVING AN INVOICE FROM NYSFT LLC

2. NO PORTION OF MY DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED:

• NO PORTION OF MY DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED.

• REGISTERED STUDENTS WHO WISH TO TRANSFER TO ANOTHER COURSE DATE MAY BEALLOWED TO DO SO AFTER PAYING A RESCHEDULING FEE OF $35.00.

• IN SOME CASES, NYS FIREARM TRAINING MAY CHOOSE TO:

• CREDIT YOUR PAYMENT FOR A COURSE YOU REGISTERED FOR TOWARDS THE COST OF ANOTHER COURSE WITH NYS FIREARM TRAINING.

• WAIVE THE RESCHEDULING FEES.

• RESCHEDULE CLASSES & STUDENTS IN THE EVENT OF CLASS POSTPONEMENTS DUETO:

• DANGEROUS WEATHER

• INSTRUCTOR ILLNESS

• OTHER EVENTS BEYOND OUR ABILITY TO PREDICT OR CONTROL SUCH AS:

• GOVERNMENT ISSUED STAY AT HOME ORDERS

• GOVERNMENT ISSUED SHUT IN ORDERS

• GOVERNMENT ISSUED SHELTER IN PLACE ORDERS

• GOVERNMENT ISSUED EXECUTIVE ORDERS

NYS FIREARM TRAINING RESERVES THE RIGHT TO:

• REFUSE A SEAT IN OUR CLASSES

• STUDENTS WHO ARE VIOLATING FIREARMS AND/OR CLASS SAFETY RULES MAY BE REMOVEDFROM CLASS WITHOUT THE OPTION OF RESCHEDULING TO ANOTHER CLASS DATE OR REFUND.

• STUDENTS WHO ARRIVE IN CLASS WITH LOADED FIREARMS ON THEIR PERSONS (CONCEALED OROPEN CARRY) MAY BE REMOVED FROM CLASS WITHOUT THE OPTION OF RESCHEDULING TOANOTHER CLASS DATE OR REFUND.

• STUDENTS WHO ARRIVE IN CLASS WITH LOADED FIREARMS IN THEIR GUN CASES, BAGS, OROTHER MEANS OF CARRYING A FIREARM TO CLASS MAY BE REMOVED FROM CLASS WITHOUT THEOPTION OF RESCHEDULING TO ANOTHER CLASS DATE OR REFUND.

• STUDENTS WHO ARRIVE IN CLASS WITH UNSAFE FIREARMS, HOLSTERS, AMMUNITION CLOTHINGOR OTHER EQUIPMENT MAY NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE CLASS.

• STUDENTS WHO FIND THEMSELVES IN THIS SITUATION, WILL BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITYTO CORRECT THEIR EQUIPMENT PROBLEM(S) PRIOR TO THE CLASS START TIME ON THEDAY OF THE CLASS.

• STUDENTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO CORRECT THEIR EQUIPMENT ISSUES MAY HAVE THEOPPORTUNITY TO USE SAFE WORKING EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BY NYSFT LLC

3.Testing Standards:

• Written tests:

• Minimum passing score is 80%

• Students who fail to meet this standard are allowed one retake.

• Students who turn in incomplete tests will be considered an automatic 

failure.

• Students are required to wait a minimum of 24 hours before reattempting  the test.

All re-attempts must be scheduled with NYSFT LLC

• Firearms Qualifications:

• Students will be allowed to practice qualification course of fire.

• NYS Permit to Carry Concealed Class:

• Targets for course of fire available for purchase for $2.50 PLUS TAX

• You will be issued 1 target for Qualifications

• Minimum passing score is: 80% or 4 hits out of 5 in designated scoring area

• All other courses not specified above:

• Firearms Qualifications on all other targets:

• 80% of hits must be in designated scoring area

• Students who fail to achieve a passing score:

• Students are recommended to wait a minimum of 24 hours before 

reattempting the qualification. All re-attempts must be scheduled with NYSFT LLC (range fees will apply).

• Students who failed to achieve the minimum passing score during their first three attempts, will be allowed to reattempt the qualification 3 times.

• If a student fails to achieve a passing score during the reattempt(s) they will be directed to repeat the course.

4. NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

• By attending a NYS FIREARM TRAINING class and/or event, you are entering an area(s) where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

• By agreeing to these terms, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by NYS FIREARM TRAINING and its representatives. You release NYS FIREARM TRAINING, its employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of inter views, photographs, computer images, video and/or or audio recordings, and you waive all rights to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use of these materials. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by NYS FIREARMTRAINING or the person or entity designated to do so by NYS FIREARM TRAINING. 

5. IF YOU HAVE ONLY REGISTERED AND NOT PAID THE TO SECURE A SLOT IN THE COURSE, PARTICIPATIONMAY NOT BE ALLOWED. UNLESS OTHER PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE AT THE TIME OFREGISTRATION.

6.  I UNDERSTAND THAT FIREARMS, SELF-DEFENSE AND FIREARMS TRAINING COURSES ARE POTENTIALLYDANGEROUS, AND I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS WHILEPARTICIPATING IN THIS COURSE.

7.  BY PARTICIPATION I AM AGREEING TO FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND OBEY ALL SAFETY POLICIESAND PROCEDURES. 

9. I HAVE REVIEWED THE COURSE LIST OF STUDENT REQUIREMENTS, INCLUDING EQUIPMENT AND ANYTRAINING REQUIREMENTS AND I WILL BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THEM AT THE TIME OF THE COURSE.

10. I AM NOT UNDER ANY LEGAL RESTRICTION PROHIBITING MY ACCESS TO FIREARMS TRAINING,POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION AND/OR FIREARMS.

11.  PRE-REGISTERED & PREPAID SEATS ARE GUARANTEED FOR THE PRE-REGISTERED/PAID STUDENT.

• PRE-REGISTERED STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT PAID FOR THEIR SEATS PRIOR TO THE CLASS MAY BEABLE TO ATTEND IF THEIR SEAT HAS NOT BEEN FILLED WITH A PAYING STUDENT.

12.STUDENTS WHO ATTEND CLASSES AND SUCCESSFULLY PASS, AND LATER HAVE ETHER LOST OR MISS-PLACED CERTIFICATES AND/OR APPLICATION PACKETS TO APPLY FOR PERMITS CAN HAVE DUPLICATECERTIFICATES ISSUED:

• IN THE EVENT A STUDENT(S) CERTIFICATE(S) THAT HAVE MISSSPELLED INFORMATION:

• ON THE DAY OF THE CLASS STUDENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ALL THE APPLICABLE MATERIALSNEEDED TO APPLY FOR THEIR PERMITS IF THEY ARE ATTENDING A PERMIT TO CARRY CLASS.

• CORRECTED HARD COPIES OF THE CERTIFICATES WILL ONLY BE SENT OUT IF REQUESTED BYTHE STUDENTS.

• DUPLICATE CERTIFICATES WILL BE DATED & SIGNED FOR THE ORIGINAL DATE OF COMPLETION FORTHE COURSE

• REPLACEMENT - PERMIT TO CARRY CONCEALED APPLICATION PACKETS

• THE STUDENT MAKING THE REQUEST WILL HAVE TO PAY A $25.00 FEE TO COVER PRINTING,SHIPPING, AND HANDLING FOR THE REPLACEMENT DOCUMENTS PRIOR TO THEM BEING SENTOUT.

• NOTICE THERE IS NO AMMO IN CLASS AT ANY TIME NO EXCPTIONS. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS SAFTEY RULE OR INSTRURCTOR DURING LIVE FIRE (RANGE) WILL LEAD TO AUTOMATIC DISMISSAL.
